The first 5 months of 2008 were dedicated to the ‘Witness’ installation at the Orcas Center on Orcas Island, Washington. The show included the three log ‘Witness’ installation and selected smaller pieces.

The size of the three primary Cedar sections (11 feet tall and weighing roughly 2000 pounds each) and their proximity to each other defeated my attempts to capture in photography the intent and visual impact of the whole. Hopefully the images shown on this page give some feeling of the installation.

Opening reception was May 30.
